EdgeHead Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Benfica ultrapassa FC Porto no ´ranking` IFFHS O Benfica é o clube português mais bem colocado no ´ranking` da Federação Internacional de História e Estatística do Futebol (IFFHS). As águias subiram do lugar 76 para o 48 na atualização de fevereiro, ultrapassando assim o FC Porto, que ascendeu da posição 74 para a 61. O Sporting, que ocupava a posição número 58 no mês anterior, surge no lugar 86. No topo da classificação está agora o Chelsea, que assumiu a liderança por troca com o Barcelona – a equipa catalã, líder nos últimos três anos, caiu para o quinto lugar. O Atlético Madrid manteve a vice-liderança, ocupando o Bayern (era quinto em janeiro) o terceiro lugar do ´pódio`. Corinthians, Boca Juniors, Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter Milão e São Paulo completam os dez primeiros classificados. Marítimo (117.º), SC Braga (197.º), Académica (308.º) e Paços de Ferreira (330.º) são os restantes clubes representados no ´ranking` da IFFHS. Isto conta vitórias e empates em todas as competições dos últimos 12 meses e não faz reset ao ano/época. Daí o Sporting estar à frente no ranking (ou pelo menos estava no mês passado). Mas é um mau critério. Para serem levados a sério, têm de criar um critério que tenha um mínimo de correlação com a realidade. A questão é: se cortares 12 meses seguidos em qualquer altura ao longo dos últimos 5 ou 6 anos, o Sporting foi a melhor equipa portuguesa em algum desses cortes?Aí é que está o problema. Era parvo se concordasse mas é facilmente explicável porque foram os que mais longe chegaram nas competições europeias na época passada e são as que mais pontos dão.
