It took me Toulon to get this joke.

I'd be Lyon if I said I didn't chuckle.

Cannes you dig it?

I got a Lille chuckle from this.

So many puns, I'm about Toulouse it.

I thought I was getting Bordeaux this meme, but I was wrong.

Gosh you people Angers me...

You're quite skilled in geography puns, but I am the Brest.

That's Bordeaux line genius

I Marseille, I enjoyed this one.

Puns about French cities. What a Brest of fresh air.

I've Nevers seen a thread with so many puns, it's quite a Metz when Évry one is going at it.

I was gonna risk making a silly pun, but I've got too much Toulouse

I laughed so hard I almost pooped myself, luckily i was in the Cannes

That pun was so bad that it makes me wanna Rouen away

I can name two cities in France which I Marseilles is very Nice

This meme was Nantes a very good choice.

I did Nantes get it at first.

i bet you couldn't do these puns with german cities.

“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” (“Je désapprouve ce que vous dites, mais je défendrai à la mort votre droit à le dire”)

What Voltaire actually said was “Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so too” from Voltaire’s Essay on Tolerance – that certainly doesn’t have quite the same ring to it. The misquote actually comes from a 1907 book called Friends of Voltaire, by Evelyn Beatrice Hall.
