jr_cardoso
Goodbye, Google Maps. Hello Maps… from Apple: In early May, we broke the news that Apple will finally remove the Google connection from the important iOS Maps program. Instead of Google, Apple will rely on mapping databases that it has developed thanks to acquisitions of at-least three mapping firms. The new iOS 6 Maps application runs on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and the design features a new silver-interface. However, the general interface and feature-set in the iOS 6 Maps application does not differ much from the Google Maps-based software running on iPhones since 2007 and iPads since 2010. Except for 3D. Thanks to its purchase of C3 Technologies in 2010, Apple’s new Maps application offers 3D views. To the right is a spy shot of the new Maps app running on an iPhone. From what we heard, the 3D product is solid but spotty now, but it will improve more and more as data is gathered. We also heard that turn-by-turn isn’t loaded into all the betas, so it might not be a feature that is ready at launch. Algumas das coisas que se esperam que sejam implementadas nesta versão do iOS: Notification Center - Hidden behind the home screen Mission Control - Triggered by swipe up from the bottom, browse through app history, view Safari pages, Safari - Automatic full screen by double tapping Dynamic Badges - Pull icon down to view notifications Flipcons - Pull icon down to make it flip, get a quick look at updated app content, tap the flipcon to open app content. systemoff

Perks
Eu não queria trollar mas: turn-by-turn navigation will be available only on iPhone 4S and iPad 2 or later. Cellular data charges may apply. LOOOOOOOL
jr_cardoso
