royaltartufo
Project CARS Members Copies Distribution Dear Members, Project CARS is moving quickly towards being released and we would like to thank all of you for your continued support during the past three and a half years. We're happy to announce that we are ready to distribute the WMD member copies of Project CARS. Please make sure to read the information below carefully: Members eligible to receive a copy of the game, will be receiving the Digital Edition of Project CARS via Steam, including both the five Limited Edition cars as well as the Modified Car Pack, so you'll be getting the full load of content available at release. Due to a variety of organizational reasons, we're unable to offer a choice of platform for the free copy. Instead, all members will be receiving the PC version of Project CARS, the Steam beta key of all members with Full Member level and above will be converted into the full retail version free of charge. As announced before, Junior Members & Team Members will be receiving a rebate or discount based on their initial commitment. Due to the way Steam handles rebates/ discounts, we will not be able to offer the fixed rebates (10€ for Junior Members, 25€ for Team Members) we originally planned. Instead, members will be receiving a percentage-based rebate (20% off for Junior Members, 50% off for Team Members) based on the Steam retail price in your region. Since Steam prices differ from country to country, the actual amount of the rebate can vary between members. We trust that this solution is satisfactory for the vast majority of members and we hope you understand that, all things considered, this is our only viable course of action. Members who are unhappy with this solution are of course free to take advantage of a full refund by clicking here. For anyone who asks for a refund after they have received a copy of the game, their refund will be the full amount less the current retail price of the game. Those of you who unfortunately decide to leave us should be aware that taking advantage of the refund results in the end of your membership and therefore both the access to WMD being terminated as well as losing out on your share of the game's sales returns. With the release of Project CARS closing in, everyone should make sure they're set up to receive both the Steam version and their share of the game's returns: Project CARS Release Checklist:1. Make sure your Project CARS Steam installation is working Your Project CARS beta key will be converted into the retail version so players should make sure their Steam installation is up and running. Those of you who haven't installed the Steam version yet can find detailed instructions here.2. Set up your Paypal account to receive returns Please make sure to have a valid Paypal address associated with your account, your Paypal info can be changed via the Control Panel ("About Me" section). Also, please make sure your Paypal account is set up to receive money as your share of the game's returns will be sent to your Paypal account. Alternate money transfer methods (ie: Bank wire transfer) may be available for higher tiers (Managers+) with a fixed handling cost.3. Keep in touch Please make sure to regularly visit the World of Mass Development forums after the game's release to keep up with the latest developments regarding your membership and Project CARS.Note: an email is being sent to all the members to inform them about this communication. Jokeman
