The Crow was based on James O’Barr’s comic series of the same name and starred Brandon Lee, the son of legendary martial artist and actor Bruce Lee. During production of The Crow, Lee was killed by an accidental gunshot wound caused by an improperly disabled blank round. The remake of The Crow will likely follow protagonist Eric Draven, played by Lee in the original, a rock musician who is resurrected from the dead in order to avenge his fiancée’s murder. Corin Hardy, director of indie horror film The Hallow, will direct The Crow remake. An Instagram photo of Momoa and Hardy sharing a pint of Guinness with the hashtags #sealthedeal and #dreamjob was the tipoff to his being cast, and sources close to Mashable confirmed the news. The Crow currently has no release date, however, Momoa will reprise his role as Aquaman in Justice League on Nov. 17, 2017, followed by a stand-alone film in 2018. Não está também descartada a possibilidade de uma breve participação de Clooney para retomar o papel de Danny Ocean. O filme está a ser planeado desde o final do ano 2014 e será desenvolvido por Gary Ross, realizador do primeiro Hunger Games, Steven Soderbergh, Olivia Milch e por George Clooney.
