unplugg your 360 from internet !! very IMPORTANT

abgx360: DAE.bin Silently Updated on XBL on Current Public Dashboard

>> From abgx360.net:

Quote: DAE.bin is being silently updated through Xbox Live with an additional challenge table! This happens on the current public dashboard version 2.0.13604.0 and there is no confirmation dialog or any known means to prevent it besides disconnecting your console from the internet.

If your DAE.bin has already been silently updated, AP25 backups that are patched with current AP25 replay data will fail the normal AP25 challenges outright! Note that all XGD3 games use AP25.

Use your originals if you want to play on Xbox Live.

*Update* More about it from c4evaspeaks.com:

Quote: First and foremost, a warning — at this current time it is advised that you stay offline and avoid playing any AP2.5/XGD3 backups. It has been confirmed by the team that the dae.bin is now being silently updated on all LIVE-connected boxes.

This update is not being deployed via a SystemUpdate or TitleUpdate, but rather occurs in the background without any visual indication or prompt to the user. As such, there is no means by which it can be cancelled or avoided, other than not connecting to LIVE. If you’ve connected to LIVE in the past 24 hours, your system has likely already been updated with a changed dae.bin.

All AP2.5/XGD3 backups that contain the now older AP25 replay data will fail the system’s AP2.5 challenges and indeed flag your system (the flagging has also been confirmed by the team).

Like our news a few days ago, the dae.bin is now being changed by way of an appended challenge table in the same manner on current retail dashes (13604) as it is on the preview dash (14686), however the content of the challenge tables differ. The team has determined that the appended challenge table appears to be unique per console and contains indentifying information. This means that everyone’s dae.bin is different, and can potentially be traced back to your specific console. Therefore, sharing your dae.bin with others is not advisable.

FAQ

Q:can i use this metod to play XGD3 games with iextreme 1.91?

A:NO you need 2.0, it's for 2.0's which caught silent update... U need to get 2.0 and stay offline

Q:Is the method for playing xgd3 games using Horizon for consoles that have already been affected by the silent update??

What if my XGD3 game update is not in the website for TU update files?

does that mean I wont be able to play my game until some new firmware comes out?

A:Yes

Try all... U can not know which update fits cause ABGX don't tell us MEDIA ID Yet...

DAE.BIN is personal for each user... Each game acts differently for everyone, worth trying the method on each title

Q:Anyone has idea how to find Media ID on XGD3 games?

A:Well only the scene guys able to do it, try all the files on xbuc.net...

Q:How can i play Rayman!

A:If there is no TU on xbuc.net u have to wait

Q: Doesn't this fix further damage us in the event of a possible rollback? I mean you are just really piling up new logs on top of a flagged game in most cases which has since been disabled for you via updates but now again is actively writing logs..i'm not exactly sold on the benefits of this method if you at any point hope to be xbl with that current console again.

A:We don't know this is not offical thing from C4eva but by modding your console you already always have the risk...

Q:Should USB Stick have to be connected to XBOX360 at all times

A:No after the boot you can unplug(reported by members)

Q:Can i put multiple TU files on the USB

A:Yes you can!

Q:360 REV don't work what to do?

A: Downloaded microsoft .net framework 4 fixed the issue.

Q:do u have to use a flashdrive or can u use ur xbox hardrive.

A: Seperate USB MEMORY

Q: have anyone try reflashing consoles? would that help

A: WON'T HELP

Q: How to clear Cache?

A: Go to Xbox options >>> Memory options>>> HDD or USB Press Y... Clear Cache!

  3. RESTART YOUR CONSOLE IF IT FAILS AND TRY AGAIN!

Edit: Para sumarizar vou deixar aqui a minha experiência pessoal.
