EsCk
Grand Theft Auto V expected to sell 14 million at launch Sterne Agee analyst says Rockstar's next open-world crime game will hit in the first quarter of 2013, bringing $700 million in sales with it. Grand Theft Auto V will sell more at launch than Grand Theft Auto IV managed in its first year on shelves, according to one analyst. Sterne Agee's Arvind Bhatia today released a note to investors, saying he expects the game to debut in the first three months of 2013, posting sales of 14 million copies. Bhatia said the GTAV launch should bring in about $700 million in revenue for Take-Two, which said it expected just over $1 billion for Rockstar products this fiscal year. With Max Payne 3 the only announced Rockstar title to launch this year, Bhatia believes it "is all but a given" that the publisher is planning to launch GTAV before the March 31, 2013, end of its fiscal year. For perspective on just how big the game is for the publisher, Take-Two's previous fiscal year saw total revenues of $825.8 million. The publisher has projected this year's sales to hit $1.75 billion to $1.85 billion. That uptick has led to widespread agreement from analysts that GTAV will launch in Take-Two's current fiscal year. GTAIV debuted in April of 2008 and shipped 13 million before the end of March 2009. The game enjoyed sales over a prolonged stretch of time, as two years later, Take-Two said shipments had reached nearly 20 million. @GameSpot Não me admiraria nada que batesse muitos recordes.

NOX
Isto e a prova que se um jogo for bom vende , so vejo records de vendas a ser batidos , afinal nao andam pobres por causa da pirataria !!
EsCk

EsCk
Só para manter o tópico com algumas noticias, um artigo de opinião do CEO da Take 2: One of the ongoing Grand Theft Auto V debates is not really about which platform is better but more about Nintendo's Wii U and whether or not it will get GTA V. We've doubted the idea and now a big name with a big say is weighing in. CEO of Take-Two (Rockstar's parent company) Strauss Zelnick has doubts about Mature rated games on the Wii U. Gamasutra posted some of Zelnick's advice on the gaming industry. He is excited to take on the new console with a lineup of family titles but doesn't see it fit for everything: "We haven't announced anything," says Zelnick on the possibility of moving the company's mature titles onto the Wii U. "I'm skeptical." ... "For a company like ours, it's a great opportunity," he says. "[New console launches] separate the winners from the losers -- and we fully expect to be one of the winners." "I don't want to minimize the challenge of creating titles for new technology or the economic challenges of doing that, but if you get it right, it's a terrific time to launch a new IP," he says. For those with no patience that have been crying over the wait between GTA releases, Zelnick also talks about yearly releases of titles: "I don't aim to annualize our non-sports titles because I think you run the risk of burning out the consumer -- even if its very high quality [product]," he says. "Some of our competitors have had this trajectory where they extract a lot of value and the IP goes away. We're trying really hard to build permanent IP. And if you have to rest the title for a few years, over time you'll extract more value. ... We're not trying to create something good and market the hell out of it. We're trying to delight customers with something great -- and market hell out of it." EsCk
Estes gajos são os maiores.. De onde veio a ideia de mandarem essas imagens: “What is going on with GTAV?” – received via Mouthoff We are very busy working on the game! Everything is going well, but the game is a huge project. We should have more information and some new assets for you soon. “Why don’t you give us more news?” – received via Mouthoff As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don’t do this because we ‘don’t care about our fans' 'don’t respect our fans’ 'hate GTA fans etc' – precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it. The only things we care about are that you enjoy the experience of actually playing the game and that we release accurate information. We just have not been in a position to show more of the game than the trailer and will not be for a while yet. We did, however, manage to sneak a quick screenshot out for you… it’s not much, but we thought it was pretty fun. Then of course our art team said that no single shot could encapsulate the game properly, so they gave us another... E continuam: We will try and get some more screens for you soon and then another trailer when we are ready. O helicóptero também me parece montado.. Edited July 12, 2012 by EsCk
