How it works:

x360key consists of 2 parts, a motherboard and a remote.

The motherboard connects to the SATA bus inside the Xbox 360, and sits between the drive and the Xbox 360 motherboard. x360key is a full-fledged computer system running embedded Linux. It is capable of many things such as

- Emulating the Xbox 360 DVD drive

- Reading USB hard drives and other USB media with various file systems

- Updating itself and other hardware from USB media

- Communicating with the remote and other external USB devices

- And a lot more! (embedded Web server and Wifi connectivity for exampe)

The remote is a simple yet stylish piece of hardware that features an OLED display and 3 buttons. It connects to the x360key motherboard via a high speed USB2 connection. It also has USB for connecting USB hard drives and other devices. The OLED and buttons are used to control various aspects of x360key. It is also used for browsing attached USB media devices and launching games.

Also only July :\

Well duuuh!

will be retailing between $130-150 depending on the retailer.

Pois, afinal tinha razão. Entre 80 e 100 euros, dependendo do vendedor. ;)

Novo edit:

There will be no 0225

For you who's been waiting for the 0225 CFW, well......you better try to get a hold of a phat while you still can cuz apparently what they thought was a solid FW, was in fact breakable by MS.

So if you're like me and logging in to c4evaspeaks.com daily just to see the "IN PROGRESS, NEARING COMPLETION" for the 0225, try to get a hold of a older slim with 9450 or a Phat.

Meaning:

[2011-04-27 02:12AM UTC] #fw <Corim123> so there is a write solution besides swapping drives c4eva?

[2011-04-27 02:12AM UTC] #fw <GlassVial> c4eva people were concerned because the status changed from “nearing completion” to “in progress” again

[2011-04-27 02:12AM UTC] #fw <Corim123> I heard that was the roadblock

[2011-04-27 02:13AM UTC] #fw <c4eva> x360key:something better will be out around the same time :)

99€

Mesmoooo assim vou pensar 2x.

Btw:

DVD key can be gotten in a passthrough way, along with proper osig etc.. no need to manually dump it. As for flashing the drive, it should be fairly easy to catch the flashing commands and block them.. if the dash even tries to flash it.. it sees an unmodified drive afterall. This mod just needs to feed the console the disk data, and leave the entire hardware identification to the unmodified drive itself.

Timing should actually be better with this, since the cpu used is much more powerful than the small controller on a dvd drive and a "slow" laser.
