Para quem está habituado a ouvir os comentários originais, estes da Sporttv deixam muito a desejar. Emoção = 0 :n: WTF acabaram de oferecer ao Jon Jones a luta com o Shogun para o título!! :eek: :eek: Claro que ele aceitou o desafio mas acho que é prematuro. O Shogun é uma besta descomunal e está anos-luz à frente de qualquer um dos que o Jon Jones apanhou até agora. Nao era tanto pensar-se as hipóteses que ele tinha ou não. O Sonnen por exemplo mereceu ganhar e bastou desconcentração durante 2 segundos no 5º round e perdeu. E ninguém estaria à espera que ele desse tanta luta. O problema é que como o A.Silva é um lutador tão bom, já está tudo à espera que ele caia lol. St-Pierre, of course, must first get by Jake Shields at April's UFC 129 event, but if the welterweight champion can earn the win, he'll then move up to 185 pounds to challenge for Silva's belt. Despite the massive size difference between the 6-foot-4 Silva and the 5-foot-10 St-Pierre, White said it could be a bout for the ages. "Georges is a great wrestler," White said. "He can take anybody down. I think stylistically, it's an interesting fight. "I just love the fact that if both guys clean out the competition in each division, you're able to do a superfight between two guys who are considered the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world." "If the fight happens, it will happen this year," he said. "The most difficult part of putting this together is going to be where we hold it," White said. "I don't know. "It makes sense that we'll do a stadium show. It totally makes sense. If there was ever a fight that we were going to do at Dallas Cowboys stadium, this would be the fight." If it's not Dallas, Canada seems to be a leading candidate to host the potential megafight. However, Silva said he has other ideas in mind. "If I had it up to me, I'd have that fight in Brazil," Silva said. "But if that's not going to happen, I'd like to have my fight here in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is my home away from home." Of course, Shields still could throw a monkey wrench into the plans, so it's too early to call the figth a guarantee. White told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that a St-Pierre loss would render a matchup with Silva meaningless, so it's a must-win for the 170-pound champ. Se o St-Pierre subir para Midleweight, ou engorda apenas 1 Kg, e continua com a mesma velocidade, mas desvantagem de peso em relação ao Anderson Silva, ou engorda 7Kg e fica com o mesmo peso do Anderson Silva(E o limite para Midleweight), mas perde as suas principais armas, velocidade e explosão. Eu continuo a achar, que não sei se para o St-Pierre será a melhor decisão subir de escalão. É que no Welter ele é Rei e senhor e como tal fãs não lhe faltam. P4rthen0n Posted February 22, 2011 Author Share Posted February 22, 2011 (edited) Nos desportos de combate normalmente quando há 1 campeão imbatível durante muitos combates (contra todos os principais lutadores desse escalão), só resta uma solução: subir de escalão. É isso que tinha que acontecer tanto com o St-Pierre como com o Anderson Silva. A diferença é que o St-Pierre é "pequeno" para middle, enquanto o Anderson Silva é "grande" para essa divisão (na verdade ele estava bem era em light heavy). Esta mega fight apenas acontece precisamente por ambos dominarem completamente 2 categorias seguidas. Tal como o Dana White disse, se o St-Pierre perder contra o Jake Shields esta luta deixa de fazer sentido e nesse caso o St-Pierre deverá manter-se em welter para tentar recuperar o título. Foi KO imediato, ele nem se apercebeu que levou um pontapé (ele pensou que tinha levado um murro). Gosto mais deste KO do que o do Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort. Excelente evento, com várias lutas empolgantes (KO do ano imo + uma submissão espectacular + dois ou três excelentes KO + uma guerra entre o Aldo e Hominick). Surpreendentemente, a luta principal, GSP vs Jake Shields, foi a mais fraca de todas. Não entendo como é que um wrestler/especialista em jiujitsu como o Jake Shields está 5 rounds inteiros sem dar qualquer uso a essas capacidades. Grande desilusão. Espero que o GSP não tenha um problema grave no olho e que recupere a visão... para subir para middleweight e lutar contra o Anderson Silva. :clap: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

O Rampage disse que lutou desde o início com a mão partida. Foi pena terem de cancelar/adiar a luta principal, Frankie Edgar vs Gray Maynard pelo título de lightweight.
