Agent Smith Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) Eight Bit Strange is a animated series that came to be as a result of my studies and interest in Art, Animation, Film and Video Games. The core idea behind the show was to create something funny, appealing and well crafted. One of the problems at the time was that all of my ideas were too large for me to complete in a reasonable time. The answer came in a form of inspiration while watching the Metal Gear Solid episode of Once Upon a Pixel , a web series I’m a fan of. I instantly fell in love with the simple design of the characters and started brainstorming of simple ideas of my own. After some trial and error, an early version of Snake was born and the series started to take shape. From there a few animation tests cultivated into the first episode which took off on Gametrailers.
