Pagar um balúrdio só para não investir no hardware? 1 ano desse Onlive dava quase para investir num portátil todos os anos, nem que fosse Acer. Mini0n Posted May 13, 2010 Share Posted May 13, 2010 OnLive Getting British Release OnLive, the "cloud" service that promises/hopes to revolutionise online gaming by removing the need for a PC or a console, will also be launching in the United Kingdom, it's been revealed today. British Telecom has teamed up with the American company to bring the service to Ol' Blighty, and in doing so has also bought a small share - 2.6% - in the firm. While OnLive will launch in the US this summer, a British release date is still up in the air, OnLive saying only that further details will be disclosed later in the year. Those worried that this means the service will be exclusive to BT customers needn't fear; it'll be available to customers of all internet service providers (BT's stake only buying them exclusivity over bundle deals, not OnLive itself). cyberurbis Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) Estive mesmo agora a experimentar algumas Demos no Onlive... e a verdade é que aquilo promete! o único problema que encontrei, pelo menos para mim... é o LAG... quando o ONLIVE possuir servidores em Portugal (se algum dia isso acontecer...) vai ser a loucura! Jogar no PC/ MAC/ Tv ou Ipad (este último acho estranho... por n ter gamepad) qualquer jogo sem estar minimamente preocupado com questões de hardware! criem uma conta e experimentem à borlix! Os gajos da MEO é k já investiam em jogos de melhor qualidade e + recentes, para além do muito importante aspecto de se jogar na tv. Aí era gajo de dar atenção a um serviço desses. cyberurbis Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) eu não faço ideia do valor para investimento inicial... mas se um ISP tuga se tornar fornecedor do Onlive, acho que prefiro pagar jogo a jogo com a vantagem de depois poder cruzar plataformas. mas lá está, para ser fiável, só com servidores nacionais. A jogar um qualquer jogo online, já o LAG é um stress e são somente instruções que são enviadas e recebidas. Aqui, estamos a enviar instruções para os States e a receber stream 720p constante (puxadote)... Às tantas o problema nem é a falta de ISP's interessados, mas sim os Donos do Onlive que não querem abrir mão do negócio. Mas por outro lado, estão condenados se não o fizerem. Portanto, mais dia, menos dia, espero que a coisa se torne fiável.
