Isto apenas no Japão.

According to Square Enix, Final Fantasy XIII has sold more than 1 million copies on its launch day in Japan. That figure does not include the system bundles, which is rumored to be 200K units shipped (not sold). The RPG was released in that region as a Playstation 3 exclusive on December 17th. Square Enix managed to ship 1.8 million copies to retail stores.

Final Fantasy XIII will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 9, 2010.

Já começou a Loucura por lá:

Mais que o MW2? No way in hell.

Just How Linear is Final Fantasy XIII?

YQt0W.jpg

Fears of extreme linearity in the progression through Final Fantasy XIII's world seem to have been justified by a map of the first few hours of the game.

Shortly before Final Fantasy XIII's Japanese release, Famitsu – giving it a 39.40, reportedly remarked at how linear the game was. Since release, fans playing the game seem to have confirmed a world map system for the game not unlike Final Fantasy X which was a single straight path for most of its 40 hours.

Below is an enlarged map of approximately the first six hours of Final Fantasy XIII. Reports state that the following hours aren't much different. This also seems to affect the game's other elements.

Shopping is done entirely through save points and the game doesn't seem to have a world map, which even Final Fantasy X had. Several key elements like the leveling system also don't seem to be fully enabled until after several hours of play.
