Ok, então está tudo certo. :P

:y:

Ainda joguei umas boas horas ao jogo quando saiu, ainda cheguei a visitar 3 mundos mas era sempre a mesma coisa mata mata, anda, corre, conduz tanque, and so on and so on!

Could Mass Effect Be Heading To the PS3?

Speaking at a gaming event in Poland this week, Bioware's Jay Watamaniuk mentioned the Playstation 3 as a probable target audience for Mass Effect 2, Polygamia reports.

During the presentation, Watamaniuk mentioned three platforms that Mass Effect 2 is targeted at. They were Xbox 360, PC and "probably PS3".

Polygamia reports that Watamaniuk later seemed to be backing away from the statement.

The original Mass Effect was developed by Bioware and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the PC and Xbox 360. But in late 2007, Electronic Arts purchased Bioware.

Mass Effect 2 is currently listed as a PC and Xbox 360 only game. Earlier this week the game popped up on several sites for the PS3, but EA said it was a mistake.

Did Watamaniuk misspeak, or should Playstation 3 owners start boning up on their Mass Effect lore? We've contacted Bioware to try and find out.

Mass Effect 2 Dated For January, Preorder Bonuses Abound

EA has nailed down a January release date for Mass Effect 2 in North America and Europe, detailing the special armor and weapons available as preorder bonuses in the process.

The epic space RPG continues on January 26th in North America, with Europe joining the fray three days later on the 29th. Along with the release date announcement, EA has revealed preorder bonus equipment available via download code once the game hits store shelves.

Most retail outlets will receive codes for Inferno Armor (seen above), which increases your Commander Shepard's negotiation skills, run speed, and combat damage. Those opting to preorder from GameStop will receive the Terminus Assault Armor (seen below), which includes an armor suit that augments run speed, damage, shields, and adds an additional magazine of reserve ammo, and the M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon, which generates a localized gravity well, which sounds painful.

"Our fans are in for a genuine thrill in the New Year with Mass Effect 2 - the second installment in the trilogy will be of amazingly high quality," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder, BioWare and Group General Manager of the RPG/MMO Group of EA. "BioWare's fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting this epic sequel, and we couldn't be more excited to reward them for pre-ordering by delivering some awesome bonus content!"

Mass Effect 2 is NOT Coming to the PS3

The BioWare community manager whose comments in Poland (pictured) led some to believe Mass Effect 2 would be coming to the PS3 has corrected his statements. Mass Effect 2 is still a PC and Xbox 360 release only.

Jay Watamaniuk, the community manager involved, posted the following yesterday afternoon in the BioWare forums:

There is a report circulating today based on an appearance I made in Poland yesterday. Seems there was a misunderstanding about ME2 coming to PS3.

Let me clarify today: ME2 is coming to PC and X360 only. Look for them both on Jan 26 in NA and Jan 29 in Europe.

Sorry for the confusion.

Watamaniuk's misstatement might not have generated much buzz had it not been preceded by listings on Electronic Arts' own Russian Web site, and an Australian retailer's, showing Mass Effect 2 as available for the PS3. EA told Kotaku that the listings were "both mistakes and they're being corrected."

Description

Mark your calendar and lock in your copy of Mass Effect 2 now! Leading video game developer BioWare, a division of Electronic Arts today announced that the epic Shooter/RPG Mass Effect 2 will be on store shelves in North America on January 26, and on January 29 in Europe.

With its larger-than-life hero Commander Shepard, intense shooter action, nuanced characters and a rich storyline, the much-anticipated sequel to the original award-winning opus is one of the most anticipated titles of 2010. In support of the launch, BioWare is releasing unique Mass Effect 2 pre-order incentives at key retailers in North America and across Europe. Codes for downloading these items will be provided to players who have pre-ordered, usable when the game is released.

In North America, pre-order bonuses include special-ops armor and weaponry that are designed to boost Commander Shepard's skills and abilities. At GameStop, Terminus Gear is available with pre-orders, which includes the powerful Terminus Assault Armor and the M-490 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon:

• The Terminus Armor is designed for use in extreme planetary conditions, increasing run speed and personal shields, and augmenting weapons with an additional magazine of reserve ammo.

• The M-90 Blackstorm Heavy Weapon generates a high-powered localized gravity well, accelerating particles to near-infinite mass, and ultimately expanding the selection of heavy weapons available to players when they gear up for combat missions in Mass Effect 2.

Players that pre-order Mass Effect 2 at other retail outlets in North America will receive the potent Inferno Armor, which is used by officers to monitor battlefield conditions by recognizing elevated heart rates, and regulates sub-systems with extreme efficiency to allow for greater response times - together these abilities translate in-game into a negotiation bonus for Commander Shepard and an increase in run speed and augmented damage from combat powers.

The Mass Effect trilogy is an emotionally charged science fiction adventure set in a vast universe filled with dangerous alien life and mysterious, uncharted planets. In Mass Effect 2, players will once again step into the role of the heroic Commander Shepard, commanding their crew of some of the most dangerous operatives from across the galaxy on a mission so challenging that it's potentially suicidal. Featuring intense shooter action, a rich futuristic storyline, space exploration and emotionally engaging character interaction, the game delivers an unparalleled cinematic experience.

Mass Effect 2 will be available on the Xbox 360 and PC.

Fiquei tipo wtf!

Os gráficos estão altamente!
