Que puta de final... Brutal.

Tudo espectacularmente bem pensado.

BREAKING BAD FILM WILL BE A SEQUEL TO THE SERIES FINALE

Update 11/7/2018: /Film has reported that the Breaking Bad film will follow Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman and will be "a sequel set after the series finale" that aired in 2013.

Additionally, via TheWrap, Bryan Cranston confirmed that the Breaking Bad film is in production on The Dan Patrick Show.

Although he hasn't read the script, he would "absolutely" do it and be a part of the movie if creator Vince Gilligan asked him to.

Original story follows:

Breaking Bad, the AMC drama that ended its hugely successful run in 2013, is now reportedly said to be getting a feature film.

As reported by the Albuquerque Journal, according to the New Mexico Film Office, a production currently titled "Greenbrier" will "begin production in the Duke City mid-November through early February."

While the film office wouldn't confirm that Greenbrier was in-fact a Breaking Bad film, a "source close to the project confirmed the production."

Greenbrier's logline says this film "tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom."

Variety confirmed the report that Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will be working on the film, although "whether it's destined for multiplexes or television is unclear."

This would be the first project that Vince Gilligan would be working on with Sony Pictures Television after he signed a three year deal with them back in July.

No further information was given for the production, and it is currently unclear if it will be a prequel or will even include the characters or same actors from the television show.

Breaking Bad, which was set and filmed in Albuquerque, starred Bryan Cranston as Walter H. White, a high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with lung cancer and who teams up with Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul, to produce and sell methamphetamine.

After five seasons and 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, Breaking Bad came to an end, but a prequel series, Better Call Saul, premiered in 2015 and recently finished its fourth season.
