EdgeHead

Edited October 31, 2007 by ghost_matrix

EdgeHead
I AM STILL ALIVEAs most of you know, I experienced a ruptured appendix which released toxins that internally poisoned me on Tuesday. After being in excruciating pain for nearly 24 hours, I went under the knife late Tuesday night and had my appendix removed. For the last four days, I've been virtually bed-ridden in Tampa General Hospital. For those four days, I've been having my body intravenously pumped and flushed with powerful antibiotics to kill the infections within my abdomen caused by the toxins. It wasn't exactly the way I planned on spending Thanksgiving of 07--away from home, away from my family, and in torturous pain. But it was a good Thanksgiving nonetheless-because I'm very thankful I'm still alive. I've got alot left to do in this life, and I wanna thank God for continuing to give me that opportunity. I'll speak on all this in greater length later, but I need my sleep now... Thank you guys-for all your support and get well soon wishes, they mean alot...Matt
EdgeHead
TNA just sent out a text alert via their mobile service that Karen Angle suffered a broken leg at last night’s Impact tapings. The injury was suffered when she landed awkwardly while exiting the six sided ring during a segment being taped for Impact. Spectators said that she had to be carried backstage after the segment was over and didn’t return to ringside for the rest of the night including missing Kurt’s match later in the taping. Original reports had suggested it was just a sprain or break of the ankle, but the term used by TNA was a "broken leg."No word yet on how long she will be out. EdgeHead
Former World Tag Team Champion Lance Cade was injured after separating his left shoulder at a live event in Atlanta on Friday night.According to athletic trainer Chris Brennan, the severity of Cade’s injury cannot be determined until he undergoes an orthopedic evaluation.“Lance could be out of action for four to six weeks,” Brennan told WWE.com. “Of course, those numbers could change depending on the orthopedic evaluation.”WWE.com will update this situation as more information becomes available. From Torrie Wilson's official Myspace.com blog:"On the health front, my back problems don't seem to be getting any better and I am actually starting to feel worse believe it or not! It's gotten to the point that I can barely stand up in the morning. I've never really been hurt before so this is really REALLY annoying to me. I can't stand feeling frail and just want to go back to my active lifestyle. I am looking into another type of treatment right now that looks promising so let's hope this problem goes away soon. Please pray for me! I have actually been out of the action in the wrestling ring for quite some time and am really starting to miss it."

EdgeHead
Rey Mysterio will not be wrestling at WrestleMania after all. He is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his torn biceps muscle this Friday and will be out of action between four and six months. After missing WrestleMania last year, Mysterio had his sights set on wrestling at this year's event as there were plans to do a Mysterio & Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show & Shane McMahon match. Mysterio, who has been briefly shown backstage on Raw last night with Mayweather, has been been assured that he will still be involved in the angle in some way.
